Waterfront pool and lounge
Boasting a view across the ocean towards Rottnest, our stunning Ocean Front lounge is the perfect location for gathering with friends or enjoying a solo wine.
The pool will be heated and features poolside lounges and garden surrounds.
The Ocean Front lounge will include dining, informal seating and a bar to enjoy drinks with friends and family. Enjoy a book in the sun, partake in one of our social programs or even host an event in the private dining area.
Our cosy resident lounge has been designed as the perfect getaway for residents. Featuring a large format TV (perfect for the big game), library, hobby section, dining amenities and alfresco, the lounge offers residents and their guests an array of activities.
Heritage lounge, dining and activity
Stage two of the development, currently underway, includes the refurbishment of the historical buildings on site for use by residents and the wider community.
Residents will have access to the heritage private dining room and lounge, resplendent with beautiful sash windows, a fireplace, leadlight windows, and a feature cellar.
Community spaces include a club lounge, arts and maker space, and a small theatre – all providing hours of activity and interaction with new friends and family.
Waterfront Cottesloe is located adjacent to expansive heritage gardens that will include areas to picnic, a nature playscape, gazebo (the summer house) and lookout. The gardens will feature a heritage walk where residents, guests and the wider community can learn more about the history of the community. It will also be an ideal spot for the grandchildren to explore or to walk the dog.
Residents with an interest in gardening are encouraged to contribute to the village gardens. A community garden, comprising both seasonal gardens vegetable patch and fruit trees, will keep the greenest thumb occupied throughout the year. Supported by our in-house gardener, residents will benefit from the fruits of their labour with seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Hair and beauty salon
A dedicated on-site hair and beauty salon is available for residents who are looking for hairdressing and beauty services.
With an onsite medical centre and availability of nurses 24-hours a day, Waterfront Cottesloe can meet the health needs of residents, both now and into the future.
The restaurant to be known as ‘Gibney’, owned and operated by the Kailis Hospitality Group, will open in early 2024. Gibney will provide a haven for those seeking a coffee or a meal – just a short stroll away. Offering a well-thought-out selection of meals and beverages, the restaurant is set to be a popular hub for residents and members of the wider Cottesloe community.
Arts maker space and exhibition gallery
The arts maker space and gallery fronting Marine Parade, will be the hub of the artistic community at Waterfront Cottesloe. Active participants will engage in creative pursuits from dedicated arts spaces.
Residents will be able to learn from and work alongside visiting artists-in-residence. Artists will have the opportunity to display their works to family, friends, and the broader community in our dedicated beachfront exhibition gallery.
Our own in-house “gold class” theatre allows residents to watch movies and major sporting events on the big screen. The latest releases are right on your doorstep. Regular movie screenings will be held as part of our social calendar and residents are encouraged to use the cinema privately with their family and friends.
The cinema will also host guest speakers and education sessions for our immediate and broader community.
Gym and therapy studio
A fully equipped gym will enable residents to maintain health and fitness in the comfort of familiar surroundings, Residents have the choice of undertaking self-directed exercise or benefiting from the expertise of a personal trainer.
Residents can also join us in the Physiotherapy studio for therapist led exercise, including a structured exercise program and pilates.
