Activity Calendar
You are invited to join a range of activities that are exclusive for Waterfront Cottesloe residents. You also have the option of participating in activities based at our residential care home, Marine Views Cottesloe, and Shine Community Services.
We can email or deliver a calendar of events to you on a regular basis.
Appointment Attendance
Our concierge is available to book regular medical, beauty, and other appointments for you and, with notice, arrange to have a team member escort you.
BBQ Terrace
Located on level two, the BBQ terrace is available for relaxation and casual meals, either as part of our regular activity calendar, or as a private event with family or friends.
You can book the areas at any stage for private functions. We are available to cater your BBQ event.
Please ensure the BBQ area is cleaned after use for the comfort of your neighbours.
Bus Outings
We have regular outings in our luxury bus and invite you to join us. Outings will generally be advertised in our activity calendar.

Shine Community
Shine Community is a local provider of care services. Join the community for regular outings and events that are based at their centre at the historic Cottesloe Post Office at 81 Forrest Street Cottesloe. Westcoast Community Centre
The Westcoast Community Centre is a volunteer organisation that has run programs of learning and leisure for the community since 1993. The centre is a meeting place for members and non-members of the community to increase their knowledge and skills through a variety of activities, talks, exercise and visits to places of interest. Cottesloe Amateur Football Club
The Cottesloe Roosters are a new WAAFL club located at Cottesloe Oval (corner Broome & Jarrad Streets, Cottesloe). Any new players and their family and friends, social members and volunteers are always welcome to come down. Games are on Saturday afternoons. Cottesloe Rugby Club
The Cottesloe Rugby Club is situated at Harvey Field, 47 Broome Street, Cottesloe. Fun and family is at the core of the club. Whether you’re are retired player, friend or family of a player or just interested in rugby, you are invited to join the club’s social club. Mosman Park Community Men’s Shed
The Mosman Park Men’s Shed is a community-based Men’s Shed that provides opportunities for members to work on projects of their own, join in Shed activities and tasks, or just share time, recreation and fellowship with other members. Many of our activities include partners and family, so we celebrate the broader world of men as well as the uniqueness of men together. Returned Service League
The RSL has a Cottesloe Sub-Branch which meets at the Cottesloe Civic Centre, in the RSL’s own meeting room that boasts a beautiful jarrah setting. Meetings are held quarterly. Rotary Club of Mosman Park – Cottesloe
Welcome to the Rotary Club of Mosman Park – Cottesloe. If you want to get involved in your local community, make new friends and raise funds for local and international projects then please come and join us. We welcome new members (male and female, 18 years and over) who live anywhere, including Mosman Park, Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove and North Fremantle. You are welcome to come along to weekly meeting at the Mosman Park Men’s Shed or help out at one of our community events. Companionship
In addition to group activities and outings, our lifestyle team can spend one-on-one quality time with you on a regular basis. We can arrange visits with our concierge, our chaplain, or members of the community such as a church member or a volunteer, who will be able to provide you with companionship.
We can also arrange additional companion time should you wish. This can range from a daily or weekly visit from a member of our lifestyle team to 24-hour companionship and care.
Gopher Trips
You can book one-on-one outings with a member of our lifestyle team in our comfortable covered gopher. Head out along the coast to enjoy the fresh air or take a hamper for morning or afternoon tea at one of the beachside parks.
Guest Suite
We have a suite dedicated for use by family and friends. The family suite has a kitchenette, dining and lounge area and is located on the ground floor of Marine Views Cottesloe. The suite has a bedroom with two king-single beds.
We will provide all linen and clean the suite on a regular basis. We can even provide meals for your visiting guests.
Gym
We have a therapy gym located in the ground level of Marine Views Cottesloe.
Our therapy team can develop one-on-one balance and strengthening program for you and assist you with regular exercise.
Library
We have a selection of books in the resident lounge located on level two and a library located on level four of Marine Views Cottesloe that you are invited to visit at any stage.
The Lane Bookshop is available to host a book club if you are keen to read and discuss the latest books
We can also arrange to have the visiting library visit you on a regular basis to ensure you have an interesting selection of books to read.
Marine Views Piano Lounge
You are invited to join us in the piano lounge to spend time with family and friends, chat with our concierge or attend regular events including music recitals.
Treat yourself to a complimentary cappuccino and avail yourself to our interactive historical displays, board games or book collection.
The lounge is located on the ground floor of Marine Views and is attended by our concierge 7-days per week.
Pastoral Care
We have a chaplain who conducts regular church services and is available for one-on-one companionship and counselling. Our chaplain also has links with local churches and can refer you to church activities.
Resident Lounge
Residents have access to the resident lounge and entertaining area located on level two. The lounge has private dining, a large screen TV and a selection of books and games.
We coordinate regular activities in the lounge including sundowners, season celebrations and movie nights. You can also book the lounge for special events with family and friends.
Salon
We have a beauty salon located on the ground floor of Marine Views that is staffed by a qualified hairdresser and beautician. Join us for a cut, colour, blow-wave or nail treatment by booking in with the concierge or via the handbook app.
Shopping, Café and Cultural Outings
We have staff available to take you on a regular shopping trip, to a local café of your choice, or to a cultural outing, or special event. With sufficient notice, our concierge can plan outings for you and your family.
Special Events
We can plan special events for you and your family. We can provide transport, catering, decorations, and entertainment if required. Our chefs can even bake a personalised birthday cake.
Trishaw
We have a fantastic trishaw bike that can accommodate two passengers and a driver (we call them a pilot!). Relax while you and a friend or loved one are chauffeured on the beachside path. Enjoy a stop for coffee or tea along the way.
Volunteers
We have an active volunteer programme where you can spend time enriching the lives of others. Volunteering opportunities include one-on-one companionship, participation in the activity program, teaching art, playing music in the piano lounge, and managing the visiting library program.
