Curtin Heritage Living has been providing quality aged care services since 1979.
The organisation was started by Cottesloe residents with the aim of providing aged care accommodation within the local area.
Today, we provide residential care, independent living and home care services to over 1,000 members of the local community.
We are a not-for-profit incorporated association and registered charity.
Resident focused: our residents are at the centre of everything we do.
Community focused: our immediate community includes our residents and their loved ones, our staff, external partners, our board, our members, and volunteers. We are a single team that works together for a single purpose—providing high quality, individualised services to our residents.
Accountability: we are accountable to our residents and their loved ones, our community and ourselves.
Simplicity: we are focused and direct our efforts towards our residents. We seek the most simple and user-friendly way of providing the services that our residents want.
Curtin Heritage Living is overseen by a board and has a local membership. The board comprises predominantly local members of the community who have an interest in aged care. Board members come from a range of professional backgrounds and provide strategic direction and oversight of the organisation.
The organisation is run by a Managing Director and senior management team. They are supported by a small but dedicated team of management and administrative staff.
Our Independent Living Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Waterfront Cottesloe and is your primary contact. A concierge is also located onsite each day and is available to coordinate your maintenance, cleaning, activity, and service needs.
We employ maintenance, gardening, cleaning, and housekeeping staff who are on site six days per week. We also have nurses, carers, allied health professionals and other team members who are on site 24-hours per day.
We believe our primary role is to ensure you receive the service you deserve. Our door is always open, and we invite you to let us know if you would like assistance.
